However, as writen it didn’t confirm the bacterium to be the cause to bronchiectasis. The study used experimental cells and animal models only in identifying its role in causing the c.tion, which are not the same as hunan studies that are requured to establish a cause-effect relationship in patients. Hope follow-up studies clarify this key question without which the use of antibacterial medication may not work.
